My first day in Australia

My name is Mercedes. I'm 30 years old . I come from Colombia. I come from a family of one child My Mum and Dad are still alive.
I came to Sydney, Australia, in 1998 by myself to get a better life and to study.
When I arrived in Australia I was scared to a new country, which had a language which I didn't know.

    I would love to hear more about your first impressions of Australia. Was it like you expected it? Were you shocked by anything? Did you like the streets? Were the shops different? What about the people?
